On the nose, aromas of baked plum and cherry turnover emerge first followed by a hint of kirsch. Jammy red fruit with butterscotch and caramel notes hit first on the palate interwoven with a playful savory note reminiscent of garam marsala. Big tannins and toasty oak provide structure and added dimension to the wine.
